The brief
A title sequence for a period feature, with a brief that ruled out anything that looked computer-made.
What we did
Every element was shot practically — smoke, glass, projected type on paper — then assembled and graded rather than generated. The only digital step was the composite.
The outcome
A sequence that the colourist could grade like footage, and that survived the jump from cinema to streaming without falling apart.
